Another Netflix original, Rebel Ridge, took second place with 1.1B viewing minutes. That film had a slightly younger audience that was split evenly among men and women.
Family Guy and Prison Break also notched over 1B minutes, and rounding out the Top 5 was Prime Video’s Rings of Power, which generated another billion minutes for the second consecutive week following the launch of Season 2.
Notably, Hulu’s The Secret Lives of Mormon Wives debuted on Friday of this interval and still managed 409M viewing minutes. That was good enough for No. 7 on the streaming originals list. The reality series has generated quite a bit of buzz, as Deadline reported that a Season 2 renewal appears to be on the horizon.
Also among originals, Peacock’s Fight Night: The Million Dollar Heist broke through the noise with 346M minutes viewed in its debut week, even with just three episodes available. That put it at No. 10.
In film, the debut of Beetlejuice Beetlejuice put its predecessor back on the map. Tim Burton’s 1988 film came in No. 6 on the film list with 300M viewing minutes the week that the sequel hit theaters.
