Patrick Mahomes' Dogs Wear Taylor Swift-Inspired Accessories Amid Travis Kelce Breakup Speculation
While breakup rumors have swirled since Taylor Swift missed two Kansas City Chiefs games in a row, Travis Kelce's teammate Patrick Mahomes still supports his relationship with the singer—or at least, his dogs do.
As Page Six reported, on Sunday, Sept. 30, Patrick's wife Brittany Mahomes shared a post to her Instagram Story that was first shared by a company called Katie's Kennel of the family's two dogs, Silver and Steel, and their Swift-inspired Chiefs accessories: red-and-gold friendship bracelet-style collars.
“Bark LOUD for the @chiefs,” the company captioned their post.

Though this might be their first time wearing friendship bracelets (collars), Steel and Silver have been with their family for quite a few football seasons. Patrick gave Steel to Brittany in 2015 as a Valentine's Day present when they were still in college, while Silver joined the Mahomeses in January 2019.

Although neither Kelce nor Swift has responded to the breakup speculation, Kelce said in a 2016 interview that he wouldn't expect his partner to attend every game in a season.

“If you’re dating a professional athlete, I do not believe, at least for me, that you have to go to all the games," he said. "I mean, there’s eight home games, eight away games, plus playoffs. I don’t even expect my parents and my friends to make every single game.”
Swift attended the first Chiefs game of the season on Sept. 5. She was also there to cheer for Kelce when the Chiefs played against the Cincinnati Bengals on Sept. 15.
