Osher's wife busts him not wearing wedding ring on The Bachelor

The Bachelor Australia host Osher Günsberg, 45, has a bit of explaining to do after being spotted on the set of the reality TV show without his wedding ring.

Who else made the shock discovery but his very own wife, hair and makeup artist Audrey Griffen, who called her hubby out online!

Put a ring on it

The drama began on Wednesday when Osher shared a seemingly harmless snap of himself suited up and camera ready in the Bachelor mansion.

“Come on down to Chandeliers, Candles and Wallpaper - we have Australia’s largest range of Chandeliers, Candles and Wallpaper!” the star formerly known as Andrew G joked in the caption, poking fun at the OTT set decorations.

Many of his followers got a laugh out of the post, but it was his wife of almost three years who noticed a tiny - but significant - detail was missing: Osher’s left hand was wedding ring-free.

‘Dig yourself out of this!’

Audrey - who is currently expecting their baby - wasted no time in publicly pulling her hubby up on his absent bling.

“Hi honey, I’m all good for Chandeliers, Candles and Wallpaper thanks,” she wrote in the comments.

“Do you need a wedding ring? Come on down to ‘When You Get Home’ for a chance to dig yourself out of this ditch,” the advice columnist for Yahoo Lifestyle added coyly.

It appears that the reason behind the wedding ring no-show was perfectly innocent, as Osher explained in reply to Audrey’s query.

“I take it off to train honey, I forgot to put it back on after training. Sorry my love,” he apologised.

In the doghouse

Quick-witted Audrey clearly wasn’t done with roasting her husband, however.

“Is that what the kids call it these days? ‘Training’ love you baby cakes x,” she wrote.

People in the comments were loving Audrey’s sassy clap back, with one writing, “I'm hearin' ya sista! My hubby does the same,” while another added, “Yessssssss girl!!! Hahaha!”

One piped up to ask if Osher might be relegated to “the doghouse” with one of the couple’s two cavoodles, Frankie.

“He’s too sweet to keep in there though... Frankie I mean,” joked Audrey in response.

It’s safe to say that Osher won’t be forgetting to put his wedding ring back on after future workout sessions.

Plus, his wedding band actually came in handy earlier in the Bachelor season when Osher tapped his ring against his glass to attract the bachelorettes’ attention in order to introduce Bachelor Matt Agnew.

Osher’s Bachelor romance

While Osher’s role as host of The Bachelor franchise is to help singles find love, he has lived his own real-life romance behind the scenes.

He and Audrey met on set of Blake Garvey's season of The Bachelor, where she was working as a makeup artist.

The pair married in the Hunter Valley in December 2016, when Osher became the proud stepfather to Georgia, Audrey's 15-year-old daughter from a previous relationship.

The family also have two cavoodle pups - Frankie and LiLo - and are getting ready to welcome another member, Osher and Audrey’s first child, later this month.
