Oreo Is Dropping a First-of-Its-Kind Cookie Fans Are Calling the 'Best Oreo Ever'
It's a combination of two winning flavors.
We are only a few weeks into the year and Oreo has already dropped an impressive lineup of products. This isn’t surprising though, considering the brand’s reputation for creating some of the most iconic cookie mashups. Last year, it teamed up with Sour Patch Kids and Coca-Cola for two never-before-seen flavors. Earlier this month, the brand kicked off 2025 by adding six new Oreo treats to stores, plus cookie dough and baking mixes that make it easier than ever to whip up dessert with its iconic chocolate cookie sandwiches.
Now, Oreo is teaming up with one of the music industry's most versatile talents to launch a swirled new cookie flavor.
Post Malone Oreo Cookies Are Coming to Stores
Oreo has announced it’s rolling out a new limited edition cookie as part of a collaboration with award-winning musician Post Malone. The new Oreo features the brand’s first-ever swirled filling, which combines salted caramel and shortbread-flavored creme. The two-toned center is sandwiched between one chocolate Oreo cookie and one Golden Oreo cookie for a unique blend of flavors in every bite.
Each cookie is embossed with one of nine images that represent the star's musical journey including a sunflower, as a reference to the popular single from the 2018 movie “Spider-Man: Into the Spider-Verse,” and a butterfly representing Twelve Carat Toothache, the singer’s fourth studio album.
Food reviewer @snackolator recently shared the news with followers and many voiced excitement for the collaboration. “Wow Oreo really stepping up their game, they should make more like these!” said one commenter. “The fact that this actually has a different flavor and isn’t just a different color or design. Best of both worlds,” added another.
Post Malone Oreos aren’t expected to hit shelves until next month, but a few lucky fans claim to have already tried them. “I had these a month or so ago. Found them at a random gas station. They’re AMAZING,” wrote one Instagrammer.
So far, the comment sections are mostly filled with positive reactions, but not everyone is thrilled with the launch. Some criticized Oreo for collaborating with Post Malone and others took issue with the taste combination. “Sounds like a lot going on with the flavors,” said one unsure commenter. And it’s true—this new Oreo does pack a lot of flavors into one cookie. But the Twix-like combo of shortbread, caramel, and chocolate is always a winner in our books.
Post Malone Oreo Cookies will be available for presale online starting on Jan. 27 and will begin rolling out to retailers nationwide on Feb. 3. These are a limited-edition variety so be sure to snag yours before they disappear.
