Yahoo Lifestyle Olivia Munn Breaks Silence on 'Incredibly Sad' Personal Loss
Actress Olivia Munn paid tribute to a close friend and her literary agent, Tony Etz, after he died at 64.
Etz died from chordoma, a rare bone cancer tumor, as reported by Deadline. He was a packaging agent on a variety of landmark television shows, including Grey's Anatomy and Band of Brothers.
A couple of years before his death, Etz requested to write his own obituary, describing his career, "Over 30 years as a packaging agent, I was foundational in the sale of Jackass, House, Lost, Rescue Me, Big Little Lies, Jury Duty and Tracker and dozens of other shows. And I have been a proud citizen of the best city state in the business.”

He also represented a number of major creatives in the industry, including Munn. The Newsroom actress wrote about Etz's impact in a post on her Instagram Stories,
"This makes me incredibly sad," she wrote. "This is my literary agent who passed away from cancer yesterday; but that's not how he deserves to be remembered.”
"He should be remembered as one of the good guys in our business," she continued. "They didn't get better and kinder than Tony. Rest in love, my friend. My thoughts are with his sweet family."
Munn added a blunt message in another post, writing, "We all love you, Tony. F*CK CANCER."
The actress' loss of a friend from cancer comes as she faces her own public battle with breast cancer. Munn recently shared an update on her health battle, saying at Time's Women of the Year gala in February that she has "years to go in my cancer treatment."
But she also recalled a recent day when she felt all right, and "as I held my daughter, I was so grateful that I was healthy enough to see every minute of it all."
The actress shares a daughter named Méi and a son named Malcolm with her husband, John Mulaney.
