Timothée Chalamet is officially a two-time Oscar nominee. The actor, formerly known as Lil Timmy Tim, was nominated for his portrayal of Bob Dylan in A Complete Unknown, and apparently Kylie Jenner is thrilled.
A source tells Page Six that Kylie was “screaming with excitement” when she heard the news, and that while she “had a feeling Timothée was going to be nominated, actually "seeing his name pop up on the TV screen was incredible."
The insider adds that Kylie “is ecstatic and she’s so proud of him,” and "is absolutely thrilled and can’t wait to see Timothée in person so they can celebrate this special moment in his life.”
Soooo, will Kylie be going to the Oscars as Timothée's date? Unclear, but she did accompany him to the Golden Globes, so it definitely seems possible.
A source previously told Page Six that “Timothée is used to attending award shows and events, but it was nice having Kylie there to support him. Kylie really is his best friend and his biggest supporter. They have such a strong connection and he was so thankful she could be there with him. [She] has such a positive energy and she just has a way of uplifting Timothée’s vibe whenever she’s around.”
If Kylie doesn't show up at the Oscars with Timmy, it seems pretty likely that she'll be at Vanity Fair's annual after-party, which she's been known to attend in the past with her sisters. So stay tuned!
