Nicole Kidman and Tom Cruise’s daughter Isabella's rare selfie
Nicole Kidman’s daughter, Isabella Cruise, has shared a rare selfie to her Instagram account.
The 27-year-old took to her social media account to upload a mirror selfie, alongside the caption: “All that glitters is gold.. oh wait, it’s just another Instagram filter”.
Isabella was adopted by Aussie actress Nicole Kidman and Hollywood star Tom Cruise in 1993. When she was just eight-years-old they separated and since then, there’s been rumours of a fraught relationship with her mother.

It’s believed Nicole, who shunned Scientology, became known as an ‘SP’ or ‘Suppressive Person’ - a term used to describe ex-members - by the church after her divorce from Tom.
In actress Leah Remini’s memoir, Troublemaker: Surviving Hollywood and Scientology, the former church member claims she asked Bella, alongside her brother, Connor Cruise, who was adopted by Nicole and Tom in 1995, at Tom Cruise’s wedding to Katie Holmes in 2006, whether she still talked to her mum.
“Not if I have a choice. Our mum is a f**king SP,” Bella reportedly told Remini.
Bella made headlines in 2015 when she didn’t invite her mother or her father to her London wedding to Max Parker.
However, Bella put rumours of an estrangement between her and her mother to bed in 2016, when she told New Idea: “Of course [we talk], they’re my parents,” declaring that anyone who says otherwise is “full of ****”.
Last year, it was also reported that Tom planned to ‘ban’ Nicole from their son, Connor Cruise’s, wedding to his Italian girlfriend Silvia, who has reportedly been named the “Scientologist Princess.”
“Tom is behind this and what he wants is as good as law,” a source told Radar Online.“Tom made the call and Connor followed.”
“First, Tom would never even consider inviting Nicole to Connor’s wedding because she’s considered a ‘suppressive person’ by the church — and, second, he doesn’t want her there.”
The source said Connor “worships the ground his father walks on,” and didn’t want to disobey him.
Over the years, Nicole has remained notoriously tight-lipped about the difficulties she’s faced since separating from Tom — a devout Scientologist — after 11 years of marriage in 2001.
However, in 2018, Nicole opened up to Who Magazine about their kid’s devotion to the church, saying: “They are adults. They are able to make their own decisions.”
But the mum-of-four went on to describe that it’s her duty as a mum to love them no matter what.
“They have made choices to be Scientologists and as a mother, it’s my job to love them,” she said.
“And I am an example of that tolerance and that’s what I believe — that no matter what your child does, the child has love and the child has to know there is available love and I’m open here.”
Then, in 2019, it was reported that Nicole was left ‘heartbroken’ after Bella Cruise reportedly voiced her devotion to Scientology in an email sent to thousands of the church’s members.
“Seeing Bella becoming a poster girl for Scientology will break Nicole’s heart,” a source told NW.
“She hoped that Bella moving to London and seeming so focused on her clothing line meant she wasn’t so involved in the religion, but this is proof she was wrong.”
Bella reportedly went through ‘auditor’ training for the church, which is believed to cost up to AU$30,000
Nicole also has two children, Sunday Rose and Faith Margaret, from her marriage to Keith Urban.
