Nicole Kidman rescues huge spider from pool
Nicole Kidman has been hailed as ‘brave’ after she saved a huge spider from the pool during her daughter’s birthday party at the weekend.
The Hollywood megastar remained calm and collected as she managed to heard the black tarantula into a glass.
Nicole then shared the video on her official Facebook account, before it started doing the rounds on Twitter.
“House guest! Catch and release…spider released unharmed and healthy,” she captioned the footage.
“Happy Sunday.”
Her daughter and friends were not so calm however, they can be heard screaming in the background of the video, filmed in Texas.
“Step back, mum, step back,” her daughter yells.
Fans said the 51-year-old mum was ‘brave’ for being able to catch and then release the massive creepy crawly.
“Huge kudos to you Nicole for saving the spider!! Not sure I could have done that. I love all animals and all creatures, but spiders, I have a hard time with,” one person commented on Facebook.
“Isn’t it amazing what moms do for their kids,” another said.

Nicole and Keith Urban’s oldest daughter Sunday Rose Urban rung in her 10th birthday on July 7th.
The Big Little Lies star posted a sweet tribute to Sunday on her birthday, sharing a stunning black-and-white photo of her and Keith cooing over their newborn.
“Ten years ago today our little girl came into the world. You are our joy Sunday Rose. We love you, Happy Birthday,” Nicole wrote alongside the family photo.
