Nicole Kidman brings serious star power to ARIAs in Sydney
The ARIAs red carpet always attracts the country’s best and brightest music talent, but even they got star struck this year with the arrival of a homegrown Hollywood hero.
Nicole Kidman was a surprise guest alongside her husband Keith Urban on Wednesday night, with the pair dodging Sydney’s monster storm to arrive at The Star for the annual celebration.
The 51-year-old Big Little Lies actress dazzled in a fringed top and gold trousers which she accessorised with a blinged out clutch and diamond earrings. Her long hair was tied back in a ponytail and she kept her makeup simple with smokey eyes and a nude lip.
In typical Keith and Nicole fashion, the couple posed for some cosy photos holding hands and wrapping their arms around each other, before stopping to speak to fans.
Keith is hosting the awards ceremony, and alongside Rita Ora and Bob Geldof, is one of the biggest international names attending this year.
The couple are expected to be in town until next Wednesday for the AACTA awards, meanwhile Keith is bringing his Graffiti U tour to Australia in January and February next year.
Music legend Bob Geldof hit the red carpet alongside Kiwi singer Jon Stevens, while Rita Ora went all out in pale purple ballgown.
Also on the ARIAs red carpet were Sophie Monk, Sylvia Jeffreys and Imogen Anthony, as well as musicians Courtney Barnett, George Ezra, Troye Sivan, Jessica Mauboy.
