TV host shocked after X-rated subtitle fail: 'This is f***ing wild'

New Zealand TV host Hilary Barry got the shock of her life on Friday after "some eagle-eyed viewers" sent her photos of a very X-rated subtitle fail that did not match what she actually said on air.

Hilary shared screenshots of the fail on Instagram and Twitter with the photos showing the subtitles accidentally read, "I do love semen," when the host actually said "salmon".

It seems Hilary first spotted the mistake on Twitter, replying to a tweet that read, "I feel @Hilary_Barry might need to have a word with the subtitle people. To clarify she loves salmon."

"No!!! Is that for real???" she commented, adding, "Actually I see it is, a number of people have sent it to me. Oh dear!"

"Lol I'll never forget my old Australian boss thinking my Kiwi colleague was asking him if he'd like a 'semen sandwich'," another user commented below.
