The new 'I am Paul Walker' doco trailer has everyone bawling
Nearly five years on from his untimely death in a car accident, Fast & Furious star Paul Walker’s friends and family have opened up about his life.
The first official trailer for the Paul Walker documentary called ‘I am Paul Walker’, has been released and basically everyone is bawling.
Paul was killed in a car accident in Santa Clarita, California in 2013, and it is clear from the short clip that those who knew him personally are still dealing with his loss.
“That guy made the best of every single minute. He lived five lifetimes,” director Wayne Kramer said in the short clip.
Friend and Fast & Furious co-star Tyrese Gibson also featured in the trailer.
“If you loved him the way we did, you would say, ‘Well why him and not us?’” he said.
Some of the star’s family also speak in the documentary, with his sister Ashlie remembering how he “liked to go fast”.
His uncle Rhett said Paul “made a difference in a lot of people’s lives”.
Of course as soon as the trailer dropped, fans on Twitter were sharing their emotions after watching some of the never-before-scene footage from Paul’s childhood.
“Brb, gotta go cry,” was one person’s reaction.
“Just started crying in the car,” another said.
