Gina Liano sets her sights on Beverly Hills

She hasn’t even moved to Beverly Hills yet, but The Real Housewives of Melbourne’s glam barrister Gina Liano is already ruffling feathers!

Her burgeoning alliance with LA socialite Lisa Vanderpump has the other Real Housewives of Beverly Hills stars seeing red that yet another high-powered diva may soon steal their limelight.

The girls are no doubt even more concerned now that the Aussie version of the show has premiered onv Sunday on its US network.

Although initial reactions to the Melbourne ladies was mixed, it is certain to help boost Gina’s profile Stateside.

Leading the bitchy charge is said to be socialite Brandi Glanville, who doesn’t want Lisa filling the cast with women who’ll help make Team Lisa a force she can’t deal with.

"Brandi is particularly vocal about it and has been saying there’s no need for another Lisa on the show. Lisa’s really stirring the pot and loves the fact her co-stars are freaking out over Gina," an insider tells New Idea, amid buzz Gina may soon appear in the Beverly Hills series.

"All those women are fiercely protective of their turf, and no-one wants another mouthy newcomer – especially one as good-looking as Gina – to be stomping on their ground," the insider reveals of the cast members’ fears.

"Gina’s an intimidating proposition. As a barrister, she’s got an answer for everything and sees through a lot of crap – and boy, is there a lot of that on the show."

Meanwhile the fate of Gina's RHOM costars is still up in the air, with rumours circulating that Andrea Moss won't return for season two.

"She's not going to be back for the next series," media commentator Peter Ford told 2Day FM's Breakfast show.

"They may film a scene with her in which she will explain why she doesn't want to come back to it", he added.
