Tina Hutchence: 'Come home Tiger Lily!'
On the eve of her 18th birthday on July 22, Tiger Lily Hutchence Geldof has received a heartfelt letter, reminding her of her dad Michael Hutchence’s love, and urging her to reconnect with her Australian roots.

In the open letter, Michael’s sister Tina Hutchence recalls the happy 16 months the INXS star had with his baby girl before his sudden 1997 death.

"In his 37 years, I don’t remember seeing him look at another person as he did you, with such love," Tina writes.
"You responded to his voice... the anticipation of being in his arms was such that you almost jumped out of mine when you saw him walk toward you.
"You don’t remember how he told you over and over he loved you; but I do. You don’t remember how he held you to his chest and sang in a voice so sweet and gentle until you closed your eyes and drifted off; but I do."
Loss has moulded Tiger into the strong young woman she is today, having lost her father at 16-months, her mother Paula Yates at four and her half-sister Peaches Geldof earlier this year.

In the letter, Tina urges her niece to follow her dreams, to find her inner peace and to visit Australia where her family is waiting to welcome her with unconditional love.
