Kate Middleton must show ID at the Olympics
Despite being one of the most recognisable women in the world, the Duchess of Cambridge Kate Middleton is required to wear a name badge at the London Olympic Games.

Just like the other Olympic spectators, the Duchess - who was seen in a rare public embrace with her husband Prince William last Friday in the Olympic crowds - must wear lanyard with her photo and her title 'HRH Duchess of Cambridge' for identification.

But unlike the rest of the crowds, Kate's ID specifies she is an 'Honoured Guest' underneath her name to ensure she's still recognised as a VIP.

Along with Will and Harry, Kate has been a dedicated supporter of Team GB during the games, cheering on the likes of Andy Murray and Sir Chris Hoy as he won gold for England in cycling last week.
