The Voice's Crissy: My brave fight
In the same week her blind audition goes to air, The Voice contestant Crissy Ashcroft will compete for her country.
The 49-year-old is among the Aussie squad of 40 inspirational athletes in the US for the Invictus Games, an international sports event for wounded, injured and ill military personnel.

Crissy – who was injured after 13 years in the military, and suffers from post-traumatic stress disorder (PTSD) – joined Team Delta on Sunday night's show, and will compete in powerlifting, swimming and cycling events.
‘The games have given me something to look forward to, and motivation to get back to using my injured shoulder again,’ she told Radio Sport National.
‘It has also helped my mental health.’
She admits it will be a challenge to compete in the games with her PTSD.
‘It’s not just a test of my strength but also my ability to be around crowds –that’s a real struggle for me.’
