Duchess Catherine reveals Prince George's dream career


Prince George wants to become an air force cadet.

The two-year-old royal hopes to follow in the footsteps of his father Prince William, who is an air ambulance pilot, and uncle Prince Harry, who was an Apache pilot with the Army Air Corps, after becoming obsessed with fighter planes.

Duchess Catherine told cadet Lucinda Conder about George's ambition as she attended a special service to mark the 75th anniversary of the Royal Air Force Air Cadets on Sunday.

Ms Conder told reporters: 'He is now obsessed with the air cadets and wants to join.'

The cadet also revealed how thrilled she is that Catherine is involved with the RAF as a patron.

She said: 'It's brilliant to have Kate involved. It's just really nice to have a female patron for us girls. Kate is passing the responsibility down the royal family. And it's also nice to have a new, refreshing, younger patron. I think she's going to bring alive the air cadets again.'
