After winning over thousands of new fans with her time on Dancing With The Stars, Bindi Irwin has won the series.

The 17-year-old wowed the judges with her emotional performances throughout the season, and received a perfect score of 30 for her final dance.

Bindi was paired with Derek Hough for the series, and was up against Backstreet Boy Nick Carter in the finale.

During the show's Grand Final performed a freestyle routine which was dedicated to her late father, Steve Irwin.

'I've just tried to remember his strength, knowing that Dad is still with me,' Bindi said the last week of rehearsals.

At the end of the dance, Bindi was surprised by a giant projected photograph of her and Steve, prompting the 17-year-old to burst into tears.

The starlet earned a perfect score of 30/30 to top off her winning season.
