A report from TMZ claims that a judge is demanding proof that Bindi's late father Steve Irwin is dead - before she can be paid her US$230,000 pay from Dancing With The Stars.
The crocodile hunter was killed in a freak accident in 2006 by a stingray - Bindi was just eight at the time.
As Bindi is currently 17-years-old, she needs to have a form signed by her parents stating that they will give up all of their rights to money that Bindi has earnt on the show.
Although her mum Terri has signed the forms, a judge said that without proof her late father is also willing to give up his rights to the money 'the court is unable to find that it is in the best interest of the minor to be bound by the terms of the contract.'

Bindi is yet to comment on the situation but she has earnt a position as a top contender on the series by consistently gaining high scores.
The animal ambassador has dedicated her time on DWTS to Steve's memory, and even danced to Every Breath You Take as a tribute to him for the Most Memorable Year theme, admitting she was - and still does - look up to her dad.
'Dad was the strongest person I've ever known,' she said.
