What’s going on between Aussie icon Paul Hogan and Steve Irwin’s widow Terri? Tongues are wagging in Hollywood about the duo, who it seems are both keen to give love another try after facing the loneliness of life following tragedy and divorce.

‘Since splitting from Linda, everyone’s been pushing Paul to take Terri out on a date – even his business team, who think they’ll get some great publicity out of the fictional crocodile hero dating the real deal’s widow,’ says an LA-based insider. ‘But up until now, both Paul and Terri have always resisted out of respect for Steve.’

Even though the pair have never actually met face-to-face, mutual pals maintain they’re made for each other. ‘There’s no doubt Terri’s Paul’s type,’ says an insider. ‘She’s feisty, fun, fit as a flea and knows all about playing a support role in a famous coupling.
Pals say Terri’s primary focus is daughter Bindi’s career, but seeing the 17-year-old so madly in love with boyfriend Chandler Powell has got Terri thinking about dating.

Adding to this, friends say the 75-year-old comedy legend is missing having a woman in his life, and with Terri and Bindi looking like they’ll be staying in LA for the teen’s career, there’s no reason why he shouldn’t give Terri a shot.
