Sasha Mielczarek's ex-fiancée Martina Males reveals he's a wannabe TV star

It's been revealed that The Bachelorette's Sasha Mielczarek was previously engaged to Laura Dundovic's cousin, Martina Males.

Sasha and Martina were due to be wed before breaking off their engagement after two years together.

The 31-year-old explained that they parted ways on good terms.

'We were two different people,' Sasha revealed to TV Week.

'When two people don't end up being compatible, you've got to figure out when to call it a day.'

'I still have nice things to say about her... but, I don't speak to her anymore.'

Martina has since spoken out about her ex-fiance, admitting she's happy Sasha has finally got to spend time in the spotlight after he vocalised his ambition of being a TV star.

'I'm happy that Sasha's dream of becoming famous has finally become a reality,' the pretty blonde revealed to British tabloid Daily Mail.

The construction manager auditioned for a segment on travel show Getaway six years ago in the hopes of pursuing a career in television but failed to make it to the final audition.

Sasha is one of the current star's vying for Sam Frost's heart in The Bachelorette and has been tipped as a favourite to win by fans.
