After being swept off her feet by mysterious newcomer Tank, in an upcoming episode of Home And Away, Evie flees the Bay with her new man to escape the disapproval of her family, but it’s not long before Evie begins to see Tank (played by Reece Milne) for the controlling man he really is.
'For the first time, Evie’s realising that Tank is actually quite aggressive,’ Philippa Northeast, who plays Evie, tells New Idea. ‘From the moment she realises Tank isn’t happy with her, Evie feels like she’s unsafe.’
When Josh (Jackson Gallagher) receives a panic- stricken call from his ex, he doesn’t give it a second thought before rushing to Evie’s rescue, which leads to him ending up in hospital after being punched by Tank.
'Evie is 100 per cent taking the blame for what’s happened to Josh,' Philippa explains. ‘She’s really a wreck about it all.’
