They were the best of friends for more than 15 years, but now former Home And Away co-stars Kate Ritchie and Bec Hewitt are on the brink of war.
Their once-inseparable bond is ‘done’, say friends, after Bec, 31, repeatedly turned her back on her former bestie and bridesmaid without any explanation.
For the past year, Bec and her tennis legend husband Lleyton have snubbed countless invites, including birthday parties, Kate’s baby shower and weekends away with the actress-turned-radio host and her husband, former rugby league player Stuart Webb, 34.
"It’s over," confirms a close friend of the women.

"Kate has had enough and was going to confront Bec about the situation. She was furious and ready to have it out with her, preparing to give her some home truths. It was Stuart who calmed her down and she decided to move on and
forget about her altogether."
Recent speculation has blamed 34-year-old Lleyton for the ever-increasing rift, and friends believe the couple’s ‘super secret’ lifestyle hasn’t helped Bec maintain important relationships in her life.
