Asher Keddie welcomed her first child, son, Valentino, with partner Vincent Fantauzzo on March 1, and the award-winning actress says she's in 'no rush' to get back to work.
"I really do not want to miss this moment with Val," the 40-year-old told The Daily Telegraph on the red carpet at the InStyle Women of Style Awards in Sydney.
"I am really enjoying it and I feel so wrapped up in it that I just know now that if I went back to work I would be miserable so I’m not going to. Everybody is different but it just feels really important to me to focus on my family at the moment."

The Offspring star also opened up about her first few months as a new mum, admitting she has "never been so tired".
"I thought I knew what tired was working 14 hour days (as an actor) but I did not know what this sort of tired was," she said.

"It is starting to become enjoyable now I am climbing out of that newborn fog I suppose which lasted two months and I can’t even describe what it is like."
37-year-old Vincent, who is an Archibald-winning artist, told the The Project that he is already hoping to have more kids with the actress.
"I'm working on Asher having more and more children so each year I can paint them."
