Rob Lowe celebrates 25 years of sobriety

Rob Lowe shared a touching message on social media over the weekend about his longstanding struggle with drug and alcohol abuse and promised those fighting a similar battle that there is 'hope' at the end of the tunnel.
"To those struggling with addiction, there is true, real, hope. Twenty-five years ago today, I found recovery and a life of promise. #Grateful," the 50-year-old actor tweeted.

The Austin Powers star went on to thank his wife, Sheryl, along with all the other mothers out there for their support.

Rob and Sheryl, who have been married since 1991, have two children together, Matthew, 21, and John, 19.
