Zoolander stars Ben Stiller and Owen Wilson made a surprise appearance at Valentino's Paris Fashion Week show to officially announce a sequel to the comedy.

The two actors closed Valentino's show in character as Derek Zoolander and Hansel McDonald, their model alter egos from 2001 comedy, much to the delight of the audience and fans around the globe.

"It was hilarious. People freaked out..." a source told the New York Post's Page Six.

"And they were a much bigger hit in Paris than Kimye!"

According to the onlooker, the music at the show suddenly switched to 'Don't You Want Me' by the Human League and the two actors stepped out and walked the entire runway, before receiving a standing ovation as the other models stepped out for the finale.

One stylist was overheard saying: "It's about time there is some humour in this industry."
