Despite years of being pitted against each other as love rivals, Jennifer Aniston had nothing but nice things to say about Angelina Jolie's latest film Unbroken.

Putting years of a rumoured rivalry to rest, the Cake star gushed about Ange's new film and says everybody needs to move on from the past.

“I think it's time people stop with that petty B.S. and just start celebrating great work and stop with the petty kind of silliness."

“I mean, that movie is so beautiful and wonderful, and she did such a gorgeous job,” the 45-year-old actress told Entertainment Tonight of the flick, which centres around former Olympic distance rummer and World War II prisoner of war Louis Zamperini.

Jen’s comments come a decade after her split from Brad Pitt, who is now married to Ange and shares six children with the actress and director.

"It's just tiresome and old. It's like an old leather shoe. Let's buy a new pair of shiny shoes," she added.

Although rumours of hostility still circle the two actresses, Jen said: “I think that's slowly coming to an end. I really do."
