Delta Goodrem on her return to Neighbours: 'It's a real trip down memory lane'

To celebrate Neighbours 30th anniversary next year, Delta Goodrem is reprising the role that landed her a silver logie and cemented her superstar status.

Returning to the set as Nina Tucker, the character she played from 2002-2003, Delta is loving the "trip down memory lane".

“It’s so fun,” she told Confidential.

“You want to keep talking but then you’ve lines that you have to learn...,” she added.

Details about Delta's storyline are remaining underwraps for now however producer Jason Herbisons has revealed it will definitely be a musical storyline.

"It's only natural that music would somehow be involved," he said.

"Having Delta join us for this momentous occasion is the icing on the cake, we are delighted."

Other big names that will be heading back to Ramsay Street next year include Ian Smith and Anne Charleston, who played Harold and Madge Bishop - and Kylie Minogue has hinted that Charlene might also be making a comeback.

‘So.....I bought overalls today. #overalls’, she tweeted back in August.
