Netflix’s Territory Looks Like an Australian Yellowstone, With Fringe and Longmire Alums — Watch Trailer
Can we interest you in a Yellowstone-like generational ranch drama from a land down under? Well, say g’day to Territory.
Netflix has unveiled a trailer for the six-part Australian series, premiering Thursday, Oct. 24 on the streamer, with Fringe’s Anna Torv and Longmire’s Robert Taylor among the main cast. In the trailer — which you can watch above — a major Australian cattle baron dies, leading to a power struggle to take control of the largest cattle station in the world. Taylor plays cutthroat patriarch Colin, with Torv as his son’s wife Emily. As the vultures begin to circle, questions arise about the cattle baron’s death (“Maybe it wasn’t an accident,” one character theorizes), and guns are drawn. Yeah, this is going to get ugly.

“When the world’s largest cattle station is left without a clear successor, generational clashes threaten to tear the Lawson family apart,” the official synopsis reads. “Sensing this once great dynasty is in decline, the outback’s most powerful factions — rival cattle barons, desert gangsters, Indigenous elders and billionaire miners — move in for the kill.” The cast also includes Michael Dorman (For All Mankind), Sam Corlett (Vikings: Valhalla) and Sara Wiseman (One of Us Is Lying).
