Netflix Shares 'The Umbrella Academy' Season 4 Teaser Ahead of Final Season

The fourth and final season of the series premieres globally on Netflix on Aug. 8

The official teaser for season 4 of The Umbrella Academy is here!

The Hargreeves siblings are back for the final installment of the franchise, and so is their father — billionaire industrialist Sir Reginald Hargreeves, who was previously believed to be dead.

Additionally, fans will get to see Elliot Page, Tom Hopper, Robert Sheehan, Emmy Raver-Lampman, Aidan Gallagher, Justin H. Min, David Castañeda and Ritu Arya team up one last time.

In the teaser, shared by Netflix on Wednesday, May 29, the siblings are living separate lives after the climactic crisis at Hotel Oblivion led to a complete reset of their timeline. "Stripped of their powers, each is left to fend for themselves and find a new normal — with wildly varying degrees of success," a synopsis for the season reads.

“Our world is changing, has changed!” Sir Reginald says off-camera as Number Five (Gallagher) walks alone through a subway station. The clip is set to Europe's "The Final Countdown."

“There are some among us, gifted with abilities far beyond the ordinary. I have adopted six such children. I give you the inaugural class of The Umbrella Academy!” he continues as various clips play.

However, the trappings of their new world make it nearly impossible for them to ignore another adventure.

With Sir Reginald back, alive and well, he "has stepped out of the shadows and into the public eye, overseeing a powerful and nefarious business empire," the description reads.

With a mysterious association known as The Keepers holding clandestine meetings believing the reality they’re living in is a lie and a great reckoning is coming, The Umbrella Academy must come together one final time to make things right.

The next clip shows the Hargreeves siblings gathered together for a photo before heading to their last challenge.

They can all be heard talking over one another, complaining about piling into a van as they ride off to save the world.

“First mission back,” Diego (Castañeda) yells from the driver’s seat while repeatedly punching the roof of the vehicle.

“Let’s go kill this b----!” Ben (Min) yells.

Allison (Raver-Lampman) reminds him that “this is a rescue mission.”

As the teaser continues, Viktor (Page) is seen admitting that while the Hargreeves siblings “bicker constantly,” they’re still family.

“Yeah, and we drive each other crazy. But when things go to hell, they’re there for me,” he says.
