Smith first encountered the eccentric tech mogul through an article describing how he spent $2 million in an attempt to “become 18 again.” This was the initial spark that inspired Smith to make Johnson the subject of his next film.
“That initial curiosity led to a 12-month journey following Bryan Johnson’s quest and its effect on those closest to him, while interviewing experts from around the world to get a better understanding of the people trying to live healthier, longer,” Smith said. “A year later, I drink less, go to bed earlier, and wear a ring that tells me how bad my sleep is.”
Smith also serves as producer under the Library Films banner. Ashlee Vance and Daniel Koehler also produce.
