Who needs actual clothes? Zendaya's DIY scarf top gives Y2K summer vibes

Hello and welcome to day 1,872 of winter. Or at least that's how it feels to us. Can the weather just hurry up and get the memo we're ready for summer now pls?! We've had enough of coats and winter outfits, we want to be wearing summer dresses, swimwear and beach cover-ups already. Especially after seeing Zendaya's latest look.

Our forever style icon, whatever we see Z wear, we inevitably end up recreating. Be it bubble hems, animal print, or masculine tailoring, she's always one of the first to jump on a new season fashion trend. No doubt, her partnership with longtime stylist Law Roach playing a vital role in her fashion success.

But back to her most recent ensemble. Zendaya took to Instagram to share with her followers her newest campaign with Louis Vuitton that is serving major Y2K throwback summer vibes. Ditching a top in favour of a pink silk scarf decorated with a floral pattern, Zendaya has DIYed the accessory into a bandana top, wrapping it around her neck and tying at the back.

She paired the scarf top with grey high-waisted trousers and a white top-handle bag featuring the same floral motifs as her scarf as well as a flower pendant gold chunky bag chain. The actress has been a brand ambassador for the French fashion house since April 2023 and has been fronting the Louis Vuitton x Murakami collaboration – of which this is the latest – since last December.

The '00s style aesthetic follows the same theme as the previous ad shots with Zendaya wearing crop baby tees, bootleg jeans, denim mini skirts and even another bandana top.

No prizes for guessing what we'll be wearing when the temperature finally does reach 15 degrees.
