Nadia Bartel dropped by vitamin brand after ‘snorting’ scandal
Nadia Bartel has been dropped by a vitamin brand after a video of her allegedly snorting white powder made headlines.
In footage obtained by the Herald Sun, which was reportedly accidentally posted to one of the former WAG’s friend’s Instagram accounts, the 36-year-old appears to lean over the plate and snort a line of white powder.
Nadia has since taken to her social media account to apologise, writing: “Hi Everyone. I have let you all down by my actions. I take full responsibility and I am committed to taking all necessary steps to ensure I make better choices in future.
“To my family and friends, my business partners and the public health workers trying to keep us all safe, I am embarrassed and remorseful.
“I am truly and deeply sorry. I hope I can earn your forgiveness and, in time, your trust.”
However, JSHealth Vitamins, a company Nadia has promoted on her Instagram account, have now cut ties with the former WAG.
"We, like many of you, are shocked and disappointed by the recent actions of an individual who has endorsed our products," they wrote.
“JSHealth fundamentally supports all public health orders in place to keep us safe in this hugely difficult time for so many. We do not tolerate illicit behaviour.
“Please know we have taken immediate action and will no longer be working with this individual – or anyone who does not align with our values.”
Over the weekend, a $3 plate from Kmart has went viral after the video of Nadia did the rounds on social media.
Social media was set alight by the grey glazed dinner plate seen in the video, which retails for $3 at the budget store. However, many people seem to think the plate is on sale for $1.50.
“Put your $1.50 Kmart plates out for Nadia Bartel,” one person wrote on Twitter.
“Damn, those influencer ads really work - off to buy a $1.50 plate from Kmart,” another person wrote.
“The best part of the Nadia Bartel story is the $1.50 kmart plate,” a Twitter user said.
Nadia married AFL great Jimmy Bartel in 2014 however the pair parted ways in 2019.
“It’s been a very difficult month for me and the boys,” she told the Herald Sun at the time, saying she was “heartbroken”.
Before their split, she had been a staple on the Brownlow red carpet and became one of the biggest WAGs in the country.
Since then, she has relaunched her clothing label Henne and her spray tan company, Spray Aus.
