Musicians Behind ‘The Mandalorian’ and ‘Jurassic World’ Launch New Trailer Music Agency: Master Works Alliance
Music producers and composers behind titles such as “The Mandalorian” and “Jurassic World” have come together to launch Master Works Alliance, a new trailer music agency.
Music producer and score mixer Kyle Biane, business executive Wendi Williams and composers John Samuel Hanson (“Star Wars,” “Marvel” and “Harry Potter” franchises) and David Travis Edwards will represent top music publishers and premium trailer music houses through the agency.
Mixer and producer Biane (“Labor Day”) said, “It’s an unprecedented endeavor. With a focus on music for film and TV advertising, Master Works Alliance’s roster allows for unparalleled streamlining of curation, licensing, and engagement of the industry’s leading artists.”
Williams, the CFO and head of business affairs at Twelve Titans Music/Heliotrope Music, said, “We are excited to create this agency and give space to music publishers to focus on their craft while our expert managers at Master Works Alliance handle the complexities of licensing, marketing, and business development.” She added, “This will expand the range of services publishers are able to offer the industry– everything from increased library output to more availability for custom collaborations. MWA gives supervisors, licensing teams, and producers one-stop access to a trusted team of creatives.”
The team’s credits encompass decades of work on theatrical trailers. Their work includes the campaigns for the “Jurassic World” franchise, Netflix’s “Stranger Things” and “The Mandalorian” on Disney+.
Edwards, a co-founder and lead composer of Twelve Titans Music, is a founding partner of Master Works Alliance. His music has been used in over 150 motion picture trailers, including trailers for “Avengers: Infinity War,” “Top Gun Maverick” and “Jurassic World.”
