The entrance hallway may seem inconsequential, but first impressions count and fellow group members loved the results, with more than 500 likes and 50 comments.

"Looks great!!! And changing to that stone wall, wow... enjoy," one fellow DIYer wrote.

"Wow, gorgeous," another added.

Many liked it so much, they quizzed the woman on where she got her materials and how she did it.

"Love it! How did you do the panelled wall please?" one asked.

The original poster, who found her inspiration on Pinterest and the Bunnings website, was happy to share.

"It's VJ panelling from Bunnings, liquid-nailed to the wall," she replied.

"Can I ask... how did you finish the external edge of the VJ panel?" another wrote.

"We filled the top (no-one really sees it), left a gap near the stone wall and you can get edging for the corner; we love it," the DIYer responded.

The happy Bunnings customer also had words of praise for her fellow group members.

"I have to thank everyone on this site for ideas and inspirations," she added in the comments.

With such a great result, it might be time to plan your next weekend project.
