- How much of the crown jewels worth? Some of Britain's iconic crown jewels including the sacred coronation regalia are expected to be on display for the world to see during King Charles's coronation on May 6. The incredible collection of more than 100 objects and over 23,000 gemstones have been protected in the Tower of London since the 1660s.

The coronation regalia was used at the coronation of Queen Elizabeth II in 1953 and includes the sovereign scepter with cross, the sovereign's orb, and the coronation spoon. Most recently, some objects from the crown jewels were seen placed on top of the Queen's coffin during the funeral procession and lying in state period. While the crown jewels are technically considered priceless due to the historic and cultural value, it seems the most common monetary estimate is between 3 and 5 billion pounds.
