MTV Video Music Awards performers: Chappell Roan and the 17 others you'll see in 2024
The 2024 MTV Video Music Awards take place on Wednesday night as musicians from all genres will descend upon New York City with the hope of taking home a coveted Moon Man trophy. A whopping 17 acts will take the stage at UBS Arena in New York City starting at 8 p.m. ET, including two of the biggest stars of the summer.
Both Chappell Roan and Sabrina Carpenter -- the pop songstresses behind "Good Luck Babe" and "Espresso" -- are both slated to perform, headlining an impressive list of new and old artists across all genres. Rapper Eminem will open the show, his first time performing at the VMAs since 2022 and his first time kicking off the festivities since 2010.
