The film centers around a family of mice who are busy with holiday preparations in their cozy countryside home – until a human city family arrives, looking for a peaceful escape from their daily life. An epic power struggle between mice and humans begins.

“With its humor and clever plot, the film evokes the charm of holiday classics like ‘Mouse Hunt’ by Gore Verbinski or ‘Home Alone,’ delivering fun, heart and timeless adventure for the whole family,” according to a press statement.

The film is produced by Fantefilm, one of Norway’s oldest and best-known production companies, known for box-office hits such as “The Wave” (2015), “The Quake” (2018), “Teddy’s Christmas” (2022) and “The North Sea” (2023). “Teddy’s Christmas” took over 350,000 admissions in Germany.

Solveig Langeland, managing director of Sola, stated: “With its high-quality animation, charming humor, and adorable main characters, we believe this film has the potential to become a new holiday classic for families.”
