The Most Talked-About Beauty Looks at Milan Fashion Week
Going backstage at any show during Fashion Month can be overwhelming. It’s always a flurry of activity between the models, makeup artists, hairstylists, photographers, and fashion staff. As editors, we go backstage to get intel on the best hair, makeup, and nail looks of the season, as well as to capture content, which can be tricky if you don’t have a professional-quality camera. But we came armed this season with a new weapon in our journalistic arsenal: We were one of the first to test the new iPhone 16 and all its upgraded photography features.
Ahead, check out exclusive imagery of can’t-miss beauty moments from the Marni, Gucci, Moschino, and Salvatore Ferragamo shows in Milan—all shot on the new iPhone 16.
Marni
The eyebrows at Marni are bound to be one of the season's most talked-about and polarizing beauty looks. Backstage, makeup artists temporarily disguised models' natural brows with concealer and then drew skinny, bold new brows high up on the face for a dramatic editorial look.

Not all models wore red lipstick with the skinny brows, as seen here.

Moschino
There was a lot going on at Moschino—in a good way. Here, a model gets ready to walk the runway wearing painted-on polka dots and two slick and shiny pigtail braids.
Moschino
This fun look at Moschino was all about the accessories.
Moschino
The slick and shiny hair look continued on some models with short crops. Consider this another polarizing, albeit editorial, look of the season.

Gucci
At Gucci, classic beauty reigned supreme with a gorgeous smoked-out cat-eye.

Gucci
While the makeup at Gucci was all about pairing a smoky cat-eye with fresh skin, the hair was kept relatively simple: center-parted and slicked down along the part.
Salvatore Ferragamo
There was an ease to the beauty look at Salvatore Ferragamo dance-inspired show, with makeup and hair kept mostly fresh and natural, save for a few slicked-back chignons.
