Going backstage at any show during Fashion Month can be overwhelming. It’s always a flurry of activity between the models, makeup artists, hairstylists, photographers, and fashion staff. As editors, we go backstage to get intel on the best hair, makeup, and nail looks of the season, as well as to capture content, which can be tricky if you don’t have a professional-quality camera. But we came armed this season with a new weapon in our journalistic arsenal: We were one of the first to test the new iPhone 16 and all its upgraded photography features.
