Our Most-Saved Dip Recipe Will Have Everyone 'Licking the Bowl'
It's creamy, tangy, and not what you expect.
My saved recipe folder is filled with dips I love and many I have yet to make. Dips are generally very easy to put together, and they can be as filling and delicious as a full meal with the right ingredients.
If you're looking for one dip that has caught the attention of the Allrecipes community again and again, try our most-saved dip recipe of all time.
Our Most-Saved Dip Recipe of All Time
While some might expect our Buffalo Chicken Dip or Baked Cowboy Dip to take the top spot, our most-saved recipe is our Dill Pickle Dip. This makes a lot of sense when you look at how popular pickles are these days. And everyone knows dill and pickles are a match made in food heaven.
Not a huge pickle fan? Don't let that sway you! Plenty of reviewers speak to how much non-pickle people love this dip, too.
The recipe has three steps and only five ingredients: cream cheese, dill pickles, sweet onion, pickle juice, and dried dill weed, plus salt and black pepper to your liking. In order to get the right consistency, allow your cream cheese to come to room temperature first before starting the recipe.
After you gather all your ingredients, place your cream cheese in a bowl and stir until smooth. Then, stir in dill pickles, onion, pickle juice, dill weed, salt, and pepper until fully combined. Store in the refrigerator until you're ready to enjoy. That's it!
Recipe Tip
Outside of serving this up as a traditional dip, there are several ways to use this recipe for something other than dipping chips. If you have potatoes in the house, cook them up and make a potato salad with this creamy dip. Or try the same with a pasta salad. One reviewer started using this dip in place of tartar sauce for their catfish, and another used it as a spread for their cheeseburger.
