They were the stars of last year’s season of My Kitchen Rules', when their laughter and infectious good humour won the hearts of the nation.
Often mistaken for sisters, Sheri Eddington and Emilie Biggar were best friends, and shared a bond they thought was unbreakable.

But after they finished filming the show, life took a dramatic turn for the reality stars when they turned their backs on each other, severing all contact.
‘It’s really strange because there was no bad blood or big fall-out,’ explains Emilie, 25.
‘Living together in that stressful environment during filming, it took its toll on us.’
Sheri adds: ‘I wanted to get out of there. I hated it, then we just went back to our old lives.'
The girls lost touch until, in an incredible twist of fate, by the time the show was televised, both girls were pregnant and, unbeknown to one another, would later give birth to daughters just days apart.
‘Having our babies is what we needed I think, it will make us bond again because children have a way of bringing people together,’ 23-year-old Sheri reveals exclusively to New Idea.

‘It’s not every day your friend has a baby the same week as you,’ Emilie says.
‘I’m absolutely blown away.’
