Tom Cruise, Simon Pegg and Hayley Atwell in 'Mission: Impossible — The Final Reckoning'Big Game action means big movie action, and Tom Cruise is once more on a personal mission to deliver exactly that.
The newest look at Mission: Impossible – The Final Reckoning dropped Sunday during Super Bowl 2025, and in it, Cruise's spy extraordinaire Ethan Hunt performs death-defying stunts across land, sea, and sky.
Previously, the first trailer for the eighth film in the massively successful spy franchise dropped in November and revealed the movie's title, characters, and a brief look at more insane stunts by Cruise and company in Ethan's latest mission.

The Final Reckoning is the follow-up to 2023's Dead Reckoning, which saw Ethan and the IMF battle a mysterious, rogue A.I. cyberweapon known as the Entity, as well as the dastardly Gabriel (Esai Morales), an assassin looking to control it.
The film said goodbye to Hunt's friend and fellow spy Ilsa Faust, who had been a major part of the series since 2015's Mission: Impossible – Rogue Nation. Played by Rebecca Ferguson, Faust was killed on a bridge in Venice by Gabriel. A devastated Ethan arrived too late to save her, but naturally vowed to not let her death be in vain.
In addition to Cruise and Morales, Hayley Atwell, Ving Rhames, Simon Pegg, Vanessa Kirby, Pom Klementieff, and Henry Czerny all reprise their roles from the previous film in the franchise. Angela Bassett, who played Erika Sloane in Mission: Impossible — Fallout, also reprises her role here.
