Miranda Kerr welcomes fourth baby and reveals sweet name to fans: 'Overjoyed'

"We are overjoyed by the arrival of our little ray of sunshine, Pierre Kerr Spiegel."

Miranda Kerr has taken to social media to announce the arrival of her fourth son, her third with husband Evan Speigel.

In a sweet Instagram post, the Aussie model shared a snap of a bunch of flowers, a pair of yellow socks and a blue baby blanket featuring the newborn's name, Pierre.

"We are overjoyed by the arrival of our little ray of sunshine, Pierre Kerr Spiegel," Miranda captioned the post. "We couldn’t be more excited to welcome our fourth son into our family. Feeling so very blessed."

Katy Perry, who is engaged to Miranda's ex and father of her first son Flynn, Orlando Bloom, commented, "Angel 💛."

Miranda and Orlando split up two years after welcoming Flynn and have co-parented the 13-year-old ever since. Orlando and Katy welcomed their daughter Daisy into the world in 2020.

The model began dating Snapchat founder Evan in May 2017, with the pair also sharing sons Hart, five, and Myles, four.

Miranda told Vogue Australia in 2022 that she always wanted to have sons, saying, "I just love being a mother and I always wanted three boys, so I feel really blessed that I have three healthy boys."

When asked at the time if she'd be keen to expand her family, she said, "I feel like I'm open, so we'll see what God decides."

The model also opened up about co-parenting with Orlando and Katy, telling the magazine that it "is something that I feel really happy about".

"From day one when Orlando and I decided to separate, I said, ‘Listen, whatever we do, we have to put Flynn’s needs first, not our own.’ That’s the way we make our decisions. Family is my number-one priority."
