Yahoo Lifestyle Millie Bobby Brown Opts for Exaggerated Hips in Annie’s Ibiza Dress for ‘The Electric State’ Red Carpet Premiere With Husband Jake Bongiovi
Millie Bobby Brown brought a dramatic silhouette to the red carpet of “The Electric State” premiere on Monday in Los Angeles. The Florence by Mills founder stars in the Netflix film adaptation of the novel by Simon Stålenhag.
Brown wore a structured gown courtesy of London-based brand Annie’s Ibiza. The floor-length dress, which takes inspiration from the Renaissance period, is evocative of Florence’s architectural masterpieces and artistry, per the brand’s official description of the look.

The gown features metallic threads and was designed with long-held lacework styles, evoking a contemporary take on timeless designs. Brown’s dress also features a structured corset, adorned with hand-beaded lace elements. The dress boasts an armor-like quality, combining glamorous opulence with precision tailoring.
Brown’s gown included a sculpted element, creating the illusion of exaggerated hips. Her look also came with a bolero jacket with sharp shoulders that balanced the exaggerated hip element. Along with her dress, Brown added pieces of jewelry courtesy of De Beers.
As for her glam, Brown’s look featured bold brows, a shimmering eye and a pink lip courtesy of artist Buster Knight. Her blond tresses were styled in a messy bun with soft curls and striking fringe to frame her face courtesy of Pete Burkill. Brown’s look was curated by stylist Ryan Young.
While walking the red carpet for “The Electric State” premiere, Brown posed for photos alongside her husband Jake Bongiovi. The couple married in May 2024. Brown and Bongiovi held a celebration in Tuscany in October 2024, with Brown wearing a wedding gown courtesy of Galia Lahav, which Brown codesigned.
Prior to her appearance at “The Electric State” premiere on Monday, Brown attended the Screen Actors Guild Awards, where she presented. The actress wore a peach dress courtesy of Louis Vuitton. Brown serves as a brand ambassador for the French luxury fashion house.
“The Electric State” follows an orphaned teenager, played by Brown, who searches for her brother in a dystopian iteration of the American West alongside a mysterious robot and eccentric grifter. The film hits Netflix on March 14.
