Stranger Things star Millie Bobby Brown has gushed about her trip to visit Bindi and Robert Irwin at Australia Zoo, calling the experience her ‘best day ever’.

The 15-year-old TV actress made the tribute through an Instagram post following her visit to the Sunshine Coast sanctuary on Sunday.

“(I’ve had) the most magical day with these special souls,” Millie wrote in reference to the animal-loving pair.

“Thank you so much for what you do for the world. Animals at your zoo receive love and care every single day with your loving keepers.”

Millie is currently down under filming the latest installment of the Godzilla franchise following the release of widely-hyped trailer for Stranger Things’  third season.

Touchingly, her affection was quickly mirrored by both Bindi and her 15-year-old brother Robert who thanked the teen for her visit to their family’s zoo.

“Thank you for visiting today beautiful,” Bindi wrote on Instagram before adding, “You are a light in this world, keep shining”.

Similarly Robert also expressed his thanks, writing how the Irwins were grateful the star “could experience some of (their) beautiful wildlife”.
