Milan Hot Spot Langosteria to Open in Upcoming Palazzo Fendi

MILAN — Enrico Buonocore and Pietro Ruffini are at it again, this time with a direct link between food and fashion. The restaurateur whose fine seafood concept is backed by Moncler chairman and chief executive officer Remo Ruffini’s investment vehicle Archive helmed by his son Pietro, will open another location in Milan’s Palazzo Fendi by the end of 2025. The hotly anticipated Palazzo Fendi is expected to open its doors on Via Montenapoleone.

On Thursday, the fashion industry favorite which first opened in 2007, also reiterated its plans to open new locations in London and Miami and said it is also eyeing a new location in Porto Cervo on the Italian island of Sardinia.

“It’s an operation that not only strengthens the Group’s presence on the Milanese and Italian scene, but amplifies its influence on the international gastronomic panorama,” the company said in a statement.

The upcoming location in the heart of the Quadrilatero shopping district also represents “a fundamental stage in the growth path of the brand, further consolidating its positioning as a point of reference in fine dining catering,” the press release read.

In July 2024, Langosteria inked a partnership with Crurated, the online retailer that allows one to trace the journey of a wine bottle from the producer to the customer’s table.

Langosteria offers Crurated’s rare and exceptional wines and spirits across its restaurants.

Since Buoncore’s first location opened here on Via Savona 10, he has grown the business to encompass Langosteria Bistrot, which opened in 2012, Langosteria Café Milano and locations in Paraggi near Portofino, Italy, one in Paris at the Hotel Cheval Blanc and Saint Moritz, Switzerland. The premium seafood restaurant also unveiled a new concept, called Langosteria Cucina in 2020, also on Via Savona.
