Mikey Madison Embraces ’60s Inspiration in Tweed Patou Minidress in New York
Mikey Madison took style cues from the 1960s in New York on Wednesday. The “Anora” star embraced two of the decade’s popular trends: pastels and sleeveless shifts, wearing a tweed Patou set.
Madison’s look consisted of a belted minidress and a matching cropped jacket, accessorizing with a black wool coat and a St. Agni clutch. Sunglasses, sheer tights and a pair of patent leather Ferragamo T-strap pumps completed her look.

The Golden Globe nominee was dressed by Jamie Mizrahi, who also counts Adele and Jeremy Allen White as clients. Hairdresser Rena Calhoun styled Madison’s dark tresses straightened, while makeup artist Melissa Hernandez gave her coral blush and a rosy terracotta lip.
It’s been a banner year for Madison, who appeared on the cover of WWD earlier this month. Her breakthrough role in “Anora,” which won the Palme d’Or at Cannes Film Festival in 2024, has garnered her awards buzz.
“I feel like I’ve grown a lot in some ways, which is interesting,” she explained. “I’ve been able to experience going to lots of different countries and showing our film to various audience members. I feel lucky to have this experience — it definitely wasn’t one that I was expecting, and so it’s been a very pleasant surprise, all of it.”
“Anora” is the story of a sex worker in Brighton Beach, Brooklyn, named Anora (Ani for short) who enters into a whirlwind marriage to the son of a Russian oligarch. Director Sean Baker, known for “The Florida Project,” “Tangerine” and “Red Rocket,” wrote the script with Madison in mind after seeing her as a member of the Manson family in the Quentin Tarantino movie “Once Upon a Time in Hollywood.”
“I felt like whatever character he would write would be one that I would love because I loved him as a filmmaker,” she said of Baker.
