Michael Strahan Gets Trolled By 'Good Morning America' Guest

Michael Strahan had to deal with some playful teasing during the latest Good Morning Americabroadcast.

During the Monday, April 7 episode of the ABC morning show, Strahan and his co-hosts were joined by UConn women's basketball coach Geno Auriemma, who couldn't resist a playful jab made at the TV personality.

Auriemma—who virtually visited the show on Monday to celebrate his team's national title victory—was about to sign off when he told Strahan, "Well, thank you Michael, and I'd be remiss if I didn't say, 'Go Birds.'"

Auriemma was of course referring to the Philadelphia Eagles, who won Super Bowl LIX earlier this year. Strahan, 53, previously played in the NFL for the New York Giants—longstanding rivals of the Philadelphia-based team.

"You just had to throw that in there, didn't ya?" Strahan replied to Auriemma during Monday's broadcast, while taking the joke like a champ and laughing it off.

"It's all right," Strahan replied while telling the basketball coach he "better watch out" if he ever returns to GMA after a Giants Super Bowl win.

After Auriemma exited the conversation, Strahan's co-host George Stephanopoulos chimed in to tell him, "Tagged you right at the bell!"

"Kind of hurt my heart there," Strahan said, "But it's okay, coach."
