A Melbourne hotel is hiding this $10K ring in one of its rooms

Ever wish your life could be like one of the fairytale stories you grew up with?

Well, now that could be a possibility thanks to one Melbourne hotel’s efforts to recreate the story of ‘The Princess and The Pea’ for one lucky guest.

While unfortunately, they aren’t going to help you find a prince, what you could find is a gorgeous pear-shaped pink sapphire and diamond encrusted ring, worth an incredible $10,000 – which some people might say is even better.

The exquisite 18ct white-gold gem, designed by Fairfax & Roberts, will be hidden in one of the rooms at The Savoy Hotel on Little Collins Melbourne in hopes to encourage people to come and explore hotel’s glamorous refurbished look that is a tribute to the Art Deco era.

However as it is a competition, it won’t all come down to just luck of being in the right place at the right time.

In order to walk away with the one-of-a-kind creation, guests from Australia must book a minimum of a one-night stay between Thursday 14th February 2019 and Thursday, 7th March 2019.

When you make the booking you will then have to answer in 25 words or less why you deserve to win the ring – entries will close at 11:59 pm AESDT on Sunday 10th February.

If you are deemed the deserving winner, the ring will be hidden somewhere in your room for you to find during your stay.

And walking away with a $10,000 jewel like that is only bound to make you feel like a princess.
