Meghan and Prince Harry to attend Aussie play
We must have made a big impact on Prince Harry and Meghan Markle when they visited Australia’s last year, as the royals are now set to attend an Aussie play in London next week.
The 37-year-old pregnant Duchess of Sussex and 34-year-old Prince Harry will sit in the audience for a gala performance of The Wider Earth, a play produced by Australian company, Trish Wadley Productions and Brisbane’s Dead Puppet Society.
The Wider Earth is presented in association with Queensland Theatre and the Natural History Museum.

Prince Harry and Meghan Markle will attend the play on February 12th, in support of the Queen’s Commonwealth Trust and the Queen’s Commonwealth Canopy.
They play, which features a small cast of seven, tells the story of 22-year-old Charles Darwin’s voyage on HMS Beagle.
It also features puppetry and ‘cinematic animations to bring to life uncharted landscapes in the theatrical event of 2018’.
Prince Harry is president of the QCT and Meghan is obviously a keen fan of the arts, having worked as an actress in Hollywood before she married Prince Harry in May last year.
“This is a really exciting creative collaboration — bringing together a hugely talented theatrical team and the Natural History Museum’s world-renowned scientific expertise,” The Natural History Museum’s Director of Engagement Clare Matterson said, according to news.com.au.
“It makes perfect sense for the museum to host this production, which is a gripping retelling of one of the most important voyages in scientific history.”
