Meghan Markle's friend Gayle King, 64, shows off curves in bikini snaps

Gayle King is the latest over-50 star to show off her swimsuit on social media — and her body-positive message has left fans inspired.

The CBS This Morning host took to Instagram to post a side-by-side shoot taken during a Mexican vacation with her niece, Mekenzye.

In the first snap, the younger woman is seen posing in a red bikini, scuba goggles perched on her forehead.

Once followers swipe the post to the right, 64-year-old Gayle is holding the same confident pose as she proudly shows off her curves in a colourful striped swimsuit.

Gayle’s caption would no doubt make best friend Oprah Winfrey proud. The journalist dubbed her photos a ‘celebration of cellulite cottage cheese thighs’ and was ‘happy to report no Photoshopping allowed!’

A second set of photos shows her niece in a red one-piece, while King rocks a pale blue swimsuit with ruched details and a ruffle down the front.

Her photos and body-positive message have impressed commenters, with model — and fellow self-love advocate — Ashley Graham responding, “You look fabulous Gayle!”

“You inspire all of us ladies, Gayle!!!” added a 63-year-old fan. “Never Too OLD! I have to keep telling myself this.”

“You held your own Gayle!” read another comment, while another follower wrote, ‘love the realness.”
